Arc Infrared Carbon-Sulfur Analyzer
In the hardware manufacturing industry, the arc infrared carbon sulfur analyzer is a device specifically used to detect the carbon (C) and sulfur (S) content in metal materials. Carbon and sulfur are important elements that affect the performance of metal materials, especially in steel, casting alloys and other materials, the content of carbon and sulfur directly affects the strength, toughness, ductility and corrosion resistance of the material. Therefore, accurate determination of the content of these elements is essential to ensure the quality of the material.

Detection Process
Cut the appropriate amount of sample from the metal sample to be tested. The sample should be as uniform as possible to ensure the accuracy of the test results, clean the sample, remove surface oxides and impurities, and ensure the purity of the sample.
Calibration with standard samples of known components ensures instrument accuracy. Make necessary adjustments and Settings according to the instructions of the instrument.
Put the processed sample into the sample bin of the analyzer and start the analyzer for testing. The instrument burns the sample through an arc and measures the carbon and sulfur content of the resulting gas.
The instrument automatically generates test results, records the carbon and sulfur content of the sample, and analyzes and evaluates the sample based on the test results to determine its compliance with relevant standards or specifications.
Organize test results into reports, including sample information, test data, analysis results, and related descriptions, review the reports for accuracy, and archive them for subsequent review.
After testing is complete, clean the analyzer and sample handling equipment to ensure there are no remaining samples or contaminants, and maintain and service the analyzer regularly to ensure its long-term stability and accuracy.
