We know that self-tapping screws don't need nuts. Because of its natural cool locking skills. But you've heard that stainless steel screws can't be used with nuts. Why is that?
The reason for this statement is that when the low-temperature pipe flange is assembled, it is fastened with stainless steel bolts and nuts, and it is easy to bite after a period of time. This is because after tightening, the overall structure of the screw and bolt will be slightly deformed, the bite will become tighter, or the screw and bolt holes will fuse after a long time.
To remove the bolts and nuts again at this point will require more force to overcome the friction of the threaded connection and overcome the energy generated by the deformation of the material and the destruction of the intermolecular polymerization, in short, will become particularly difficult.
① The material of the nut can be changed to copper nut, which can avoid fusion phenomenon.
② Apply some grease to the screw type before screwing the nut.
③ Anti-bite mixture can be used to prevent corrosion, sintering, rust and wear of parts at high temperature.
